  I MOVED IN TO THIS PLACE A FEW YEARS ago BACK 2009-2010. PAID MY SECURITY DEPOSIT of $ 600.00. Ventrix PROPERTIES, TOOK MY $ 600.00 DEPOSIT AWAY FROM ME. they claim it was because my room mate owned them money. Since they were selling the build, I guess they wanted to get all they could get and hall ass. Now they have new owners as of a week or so ago here in 2014 of late April early May or whatever. Since then, my roommate cut me out of the lease, but I still pay half of his $950.00 rent. I stayed because I thought I would have a lease by now. Even though the lease is not in my name they want me to help my room mate pay for his security deposit on a lease that Ventrix properties allowed my roommate to cut me out of. I do not trust the company will give me my security back. The lease is not in my name, so it's a trick, they gonna keep my money all over again. Why should I help this crook out of the situation he lazy non-working ass got him self into after what the company just done to me. I think I should move out of here as soon as possible.
  
  1. BUILDING IS AN OLD SLUM. IT very well NEED TO BE KNOCKED DOWN AND RE-BUILT. AT ONE POINT, last year of 2013, I HAD RATS IN MY APARTMENT. FOR seemed like ONE YEAR, TOOK THEIR TIME TO PATCH THE HOLE in the floor. IT WAS MY NEIGHBOR, FROM THE THIRD FLOOR, WHO BROUGHT DOWN HER LATE HUSBANDS "GRAVE STONE" DOWN STAIRS TO HELP ME ". TOGETHER, SHE AND I "PLUGED THE HOLE UP" UNTIL THEY WOULD FIX IT WHENEVER THEY GOT AROUND TO IT. LORD HAVE MERCY,THANK GOD, FOR MY FRIEND ON THE THIRD FLOOR. DURING THAT ,I LOST MANY NIGHTS OF SLEEP. I simply FEARED FOR MY CAT AND MY SAFETY.
  
  2. TENANTS here in the building MAKE THE SITUATION EVEN WORSE. THEY DON'T HELP KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR SURROUNDINGS. THEY LEAVE TRASH AND CIGARETTE BUTTS ON THE FLOORS. While I was cleaning the hall ways up stairs, I even found used rubbers laying in the hall way.
  
  3.THEY RENT TO DRUG HEADS, DRUNKS, CONartist.
  
  4.POLICE ARE ALWAYS HERE.
  
  5.PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING WILL "PLAY UPON YOUR INTELLIGENCE" SO BE CAREFUL, SAY NO TO EVERYONE NO MATTER WHAT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No such thing as one hand wash the other over here so just be careful at all times.
  
  6. SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE " FIGHT TO STAND YOUR GROUND IN-ORDER TO LIVE HERE BECAUSE THAT is really ALL THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND".
  
  7. ONLY ONE GOOD THING, WAS THE PLACE IS "EVERYTHING INCLUDED" MEANING YOU JUST HAVE TO PAY RENT AND OR PARKING FEES IF YOU DRIVE A CAR.
